October 6

Ewan McIntosh brought up a really good point about how PBL (project based learning)  should aim at solving real life problems and what effect these projects can have on his blog post of October 6.   I teach Technology at a new MYP school just outside of Lisbon in Portugal.  One of the main goals of the MYP is for students to become problem solvers.  A fine goal indeed . . .

Also linked to his post was this great site from Stanford University (http://dschool.stanford.edu/k12/). It's worth a visit.
